Congratulations to Felix Ouma for winning the Kenya National Barista Championship (KNBC) 2025! Held at The Hub on May 16-17, the event showcased the exceptional talents of baristas from across the country.
Organized by Kenya Coffee Events under the coordination of the AFA-Coffee Directorate, the KNBC is part of the prestigious World Barista Championship circuit. The championship aims to promote Kenya’s specialty coffee industry while raising awareness of sustainable and ethical coffee production practices.
The competition highlighted baristas’ technical skills, creativity, and professionalism in coffee-making. It also provided a platform for coffee industry stakeholders to network and showcase their products and services.
Felix Ouma, the 2025 champion, will proudly represent Kenya at the World Barista Championship in Milan, Italy, in October. The event continues to drive positive impact on Kenya’s coffee industry, encouraging domestic coffee consumption and global recognition.
