Horticultural Crops Directorate is one of the directorates under the Agriculture and Food Authority (AFA). It is responsible for regulating the production, processing, and marketing of horticultural crops with the aim of promoting their competitiveness both locally and internationally. HCD plays a critical role in promoting the growth and development of the horticultural industry in Kenya, which is a major contributor to the country’s economy.
