Agriculture and Food Authority (AFA) – Nuts and Oil Crops Directorate today led a successful tree planting exercise at the Chapembe Mangrove area, Makumba Sublocation, Junda Location in Kisauni Sub-county, Mombasa County.
The Agriculture and Food Authority regulates, develops, and promotes the nuts and oil crops sub-sector under the Crops Act 2013 and AFA Act 2013. The Crops (Nuts and Oil Crops) Regulations 2020 impose levies on imports and exports of nuts and oil crops products as specified.
