The Agriculture and Food Authority (AFA) was honoured during the official opening of the Nairobi International Trade Fair (NITF) 2025, presided over by His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya. The Authority received multiple awards in recognition of its outstanding exhibition and continued contribution to Kenya’s agricultural transformation journey.
AFA emerged among the top exhibitors, earning:

🥈 2nd Place – Best Regulatory Authority & Corporation Stand
🥈 2nd Place – Best Agricultural-Based Statutory Board Stand
These accolades underscore AFA’s unwavering dedication to innovation, value addition, and excellence in service delivery. Through its participation at this year’s Trade Fair, the Authority showcased programs and technologies across its crop directorates, highlighting initiatives aimed at improving farmer incomes, promoting sustainable production, and enhancing market access for Kenya’s agricultural produce.


The Nairobi International Trade Fair, organized by the Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK), continues to serve as a premier platform for promoting innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange in the agricultural and trade sectors.
